Daughter of Charity Still Serving After Katrina

Throughout the centuries Daughters of Charity around the world have reached out to help victims of natural and other disasters. In keeping with this tradition, Sr. Marilyn Moore, Daughter of Charity at Providence Hospital, used a mobile clinic to reach out to the Katrina Victims in Golf Coast’s Boyou La Batre. Remebering the 5 year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, Mobile’s Press Register tells the story of how Sr. Marilyn and the entire Providence Hospital Outreach Center is still walking side by side with the hurricane victims as they continue to rebuild their lives.
