Sr. Margaret Tuley, DC was presented the Papal Cross Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice (For the Church and the Pope in Latin) by Bishop Lawrence Brandt, in recognition of her charity work and her key role in the Strategic Planning Process for the Diocese of Greensburg. This award was established by Pope Leo XIII in 1888 and is given for distinguished service to the Church by clergy and laypersons. The ceremony was held in the Cathedral in Greensburg on April 29, 2012.

Sr. Margaret Tuley, D.C., was co-chair of the Diocesan Strategic Planning Steering Committee, which helped identify several important needs for the Greensburg diocese. She previously lived in Fayette County and is a co-founder of Rendu Services, http://www.renduservices.org    a group of religious people who provide outreach to the needy in Fayette County. She is chair of the board of trustees of Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center, Lewiston, N.Y.

Sr. Margaret is a woman full of life and joy--I appreciate her wisdom too!
