We need YOUR HELP to witness Christ’s love for our brothers and sisters in the developing world, by supporting the needs submitted by Daughters so we can:
- In Eritrea, ship vital medicines worth over $7 million dollars to three Daughters of Charity Clinics, at a cost of $180,000.
- In Colombia, bring education to hundreds of vulnerable children through a specialized teacher training program at a cost of $64,000 over 3 years.
- In Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria and Tanzania, provide life-giving medicines, treatment, and nutrition for a mother or child suffering with HIV/AIDS for about $700 for an entire year.
- In Poland, empower the homeless with food, clothing and health care for $24,000.
- In Burkina Faso, the Daughters’ newest implantation, purchase a vehicle to aid Sisters in their medical and pastoral ministry for $40,000.
- In India, help the Sisters train lay leaders, with a program that costs $39,000.
- In Tanzania, support an alternative Christian Rite of Passage for over 200 young girls who are saying “no” to the practice of Female Genital Mutilation, for only $15,000.
- In Rwanda, sponsor a year-long program of professional training for adults, at a cost of only $7,000.
And, so we can support many other life-changing projects!
In addition to considering a personal donation, I am asking you to do “something extra” by passing on this request for help to your friends, family, acquaintances and to anyone you believe could and would partner with the Daughters ministering in resource-poor countries. IPS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization; 100% of every donation goes directly and securely to the Daughters of Charity projects. Visit the IPS website at http://www.daughtersips.org/ for details. Together we can help bring food, water, education and healthcare – hope and joy – to those in dire circumstances. With many helping hands, we can and will make the difference. God’s abundant blessings on you!
With my deepest gratitude,
Sister Felicia Mazzola, D.C
